Business, marketing, and operational strategies are best built together with a holistic view of your company.
Strategy
Process
We start with a general sense of what your business will offer and why it exists.

Then we dig into who your competitors are, what they offer, and how they communicate those offerings.

We'll then revisit your business and use the research to help determine your unique selling point (USP) - why someone would use your services over someone else's.
From there, we'll have a solid foundation to identify your current audience, redefine your goals, and devise a plan to accomplish them.

We'll look at financial, sanity, 10-year goals, etc. These steps lead us to the "why" behind the strategy recommendations; the strategy is "how" we'll accomplish the goals.

For existing businesses, this goes through the below phases:
Strategy Development Stages
But Wait -
If this sounds overwhelming or as though it is more than you're looking for - don't panic. I guide you through each stage. The depth that we get into each stage can vary based on the business need.
In the Meantime: Here's My Point of Differentiation
Business, marketing, and operational strategies are not traditionally done by the same person. There's an even smaller likelihood that the person who helped develop the all-in-compassing strategy is the same person developing and implementing the pieces, whether marketing, graphic design, web, or internal processes. A person who understands the various disciplines can make things work together better in a way others can not.

Partnering with more people can lead to great ideas, but for small businesses, it typically chews up more time and resources than needed. The ideas produced are likely to be "cool" but less likely to garner enough ROI per conversion.

Pulling in experts for specific initiatives is undoubtedly essential, but for the most part, I can get you off the ground and in good working order. And when it's time to pull someone else in, I have years of experience working between departments, vendors, and clients to achieve a cohesive vision.

I like to work with small businesses who need support with the basics. Whether they eventually move on to handle themselves or work with an agency, I know I've helped steer them in the right direction for a fraction of the expense.
Your success is my success.
